HelixCast vs. ScreenCloud

ScreenCloud needs compatible hardware. HelixCast runs on anything.

ScreenCloud is a well-designed digital signage platform. But it requires a compatible device, has no native screen mirroring, and enterprise pricing is behind a sales wall. HelixCast runs in any browser, includes mirroring on every plan, and shows you pricing upfront.

01

HelixCast is browser-first. ScreenCloud requires an approved device.

ScreenCloud requires a device from their compatible hardware list. No browser player. No desktop OS app. HelixCast runs in any modern browser — on Windows, Mac, Linux, a $40 Fire Stick, or a decade-old laptop. The flexibility is not a workaround. It is the product.

02

Screen mirroring is not a ScreenCloud feature. It is a HelixCast standard.

ScreenCloud does not offer native screen mirroring. If you want to present from a laptop to a ScreenCloud display, you need a separate casting solution. HelixCast includes mirroring on every plan — a presenter opens a URL in their browser and is live in under 10 seconds. No app, no account, no separate hardware.

03

No sales call to see enterprise pricing. No polling to see your updates.

ScreenCloud's Enterprise plan pricing is only available by contacting sales. HelixCast publishes all pricing upfront. And when you save a content change, HelixCast pushes it to every connected screen in seconds — ScreenCloud screens poll for updates on a schedule.
